All of us here in JOE Towers like to think that our headlines are just a small, glorious taste of the amazing story to come but in terms of this own-goal that was scored in Brazil, the headline really tells the whole story.
We could try and describe the dramatic context surrounding the match that featured the magnificently-monikered Leoes da Fabulosa – that’s Fabulous Lions for those who don’t speak Portuguese – but it would just pale in comparison to this footage.
We didn’t even know that a proper leather football can defy the laws of gravity like this because the last time we saw a ball do anything even remotely similar was on a beach in 1997 when we sat on our cheap £1 plastic ball only to see it fly straight into the face of our brother.
To be honest, we spent most of our time trying to come up with some sort of proper footballing term for this goal.
