Sergio Aguero applied the finishing touch for his second goal of the night but this goal is all about the quite glorious assist by his strike partner Alvaro Negredo.
Manchester City didn’t get off to the best possible start on a painted pitch (parts of the pitch were sprayed with green paint before kick-off) in Moscow as former Man United player Zoran Tosic put the hosts ahead early doors, but two goals from an in-form Aguero have put the Premier League side in a commanding position in the second half.
Both of the Argentinean’s finishes were from close range but his second goal is well worth repeated viewing thanks to the contribution of Alvaro Negredo, who managed to dig out a superb cross with the outside of his left boot despite the presence of four CSKA players, allowing Aguero to nip in ahead of the ‘keeper and give City the lead.
