Not exactly how he wanted his return to pan out…
Former MotoGP champion Casey Stoner made a return to bike racing this weekend at the Suzuka 8 Hours Race in Japan.
Unfortunately, the Australian’s day was cut short when he crashed out of the race in this brutal looking crash.

Stoner had been in the lead when the throttle stuck on his bike causing him to go off the track and flip over multiple times.
Stone, who hadn’t raced competitively since 2012 before this weekend, suffered a broken scapula and fractured tibia in the fall but was lucky to escape without seriously injuring himself.
Well my #Suzuka8H ended spectacularly!Stuck Throttle = Broken Scapula + Fractured Tibia and a few more tweaks. Sucks! pic.twitter.com/aNtgwDGIzG
