How do you beat the Dubs at Croke Park? Two goals within the first seven minutes is a good way of going about it.

Cork hold a commanding half-time lead over Dublin in the second National League semi-final at Croke Park, with an eight-point gap separating the sides at the break after a blistering start by the Rebels.

With the Dubs slow to get their act together, Colm O’Neill cracked a powerful effort to the net from close range before two minutes had passed and it got worse for the Dubs in the seventh minute when Stephen Cluxton misjudged a looping Brian Hurley effort and Mark Collins got the vital touch as the ball trickled to the net to increase Cork’s advantage.

It won’t make for easy watching for any Dubs out there, but having done so already this season, Cork are certainly looking good to get one over Dublin at HQ once again this afternoon.
