McGregor seems to be moving well as he continues his recovery from a knee injury, but keep an eye on the young kid, who’s got a huge future by all accounts.

McGregor was back in town at the weekend to check out and promote the opening of John Kavanagh’s new and improved Straight Blast Gym (SBG) on the Naas Road, which was previously home to McGregor and the likes of Cathal Pendred, Chris Fields and Ais Daly in the old facility on the Longmile Road.

While he was there, McGregor thought he might as well get a session in as he continues his rehabilitation from the serious knee injury suffered in what was only his second UFC fight against Max Holloway last October.

McGregor had company during his workout in the shape of young Nathan Kelly, who has represented SBG with distinction in the recent past and is believed to have a big future in MMA by all accounts.

While there were hardly any knockout blows thrown, both McGregor and Kelly seemed to be moving pretty well and we look forward to seeing the two of them in action at a more serious level in the future.
