Video: Conor McGregor and Diego Brandao try their hand at hurling

Would he make the Kilkenny team?

Lets hope the winning streak continues

Earlier today JOE brought you the news of Conor McGregor’s upcoming opponent, Diego Brandao, trying his hand at hurling. In JOE’s humble opinion we think that he should stick to the octagon rather than the hurling field.

‘The Notorious’ has now convincingly proven that he is better than the Brazilian with a hurl and sliotar in hand. Take a look.

Here’s hoping McGregor continues this winning streak. We have already brought you the latest preview of the fight as well as our interview with ‘The Notorious’ but JOE has every part of the pre-fight build up covered.

The Brazilian takes on hometown and JOE favourite Conor McGregor in the O2 on July 19th and we think it’s safe to say that the Dubliner has drawn first blood. Take a look at Brandao’s effort below.

We don’t think Brandao will be getting a call from Brian Cody or Jimmy Barry Murphy but we’re sure he has more important things on his mind, like trying to stop McGregor’s 10-match unbeaten streak.

Maybe Anthony Daly could find a lace for McGregor in his panel?

JOE will bring you all the latest news in the build up to UFC Fight Night during the week.
