The MLS is into the playoffs and Robbie Keane’s LA Galaxy, winners of the last two titles, faced Real Salt Lake in the first leg of the Western Conference semi-finals last night. They only managed the one goal to take with them to Utah but what a goal it was. Keane made his way down the left and cut back a ball that bobbled out to defender Sean Franklin, who only scored one goal in the regular season. But Franklin struck it like he bangs them in every week, lasering a curling beauty into the net from 30 yards plus. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jU81vwk2JuU Reports suggest that Keane played pretty well, which will surely be relayed to his prospective new international management team of Martin O’Neill and Roy Keane.
