Looks like someone has been watching a lot of Sean Cavanagh…

As we saw a few weeks ago, underage football is in pretty good nick in Mayo. Their Minors won the All-Ireland, beating Tyrone in the final, and back at club level, the skills on show are pretty slick too. This video, taken from the South Mayo minor final between Claremorris and Davitts, shows a Claremorris corner forward (if anyone has the lad’s name do send it in) score a classy point after bamboozling not one, but two defenders with dummies. In fact, he’s so good at them, he fooled us into thinking he was going to do a third before popping the point over the bar. As you will hear, the crowd love it too and when you consider this point was in extra-time, well, the kid certainly has belief beyond his years. UPDATE: We've been told the player's name is Brendan Walsh. Remember the name folks... Thanks to Michael Walsh for sending our way.
