This cyclist over in UK was lucky to avoid any serious injuries following this incredibly nasty crash…
The incident occurred after the cyclist in question hit some debris on the road and went flying head over heels onto the solid ground below.
It appears as though a stick of some sort gets wedged between his wheel and front fork and as you’ll see, the bike also goes flying a fair distance into the air – which is never a good sign for any cyclist.
The video comes from Cycliq over on Vimeo who said: “Road debris can be a pain: rubbish, grime, glass, screws…this is somewhat an extreme case.”
If you’re a cyclist riding alone or in a pack, just make sure to keep an eye our for debris and to ALWAYS WEAR A HELMET! We bet the cyclist above is glad he did.
