With cars coming in the opposite direction, we should add.
We can understand that adrenaline seekers need to push the boundaries to get their kicks from time to time, but there’s pushing the boundaries and then there’s cycling backwards at 50 miles per hour down a steep road with a very dangerous drop and with cars coming in the opposite direction.
It wouldn’t necessarily be our cup of tea but Eskil Ronningsbakkenn is clearly different, wheelie different, having done just that a couple of weeks back on the spectacular Trollstigen Mountain Road in Norway and living to tell the tale.
If the feat itself wasn’t dangerous enough, Ronningsbakken had to deal with slippery conditions and, admittedly, just one car coming in the opposite direction but he made it all the way down to the bottom of the slope with the ease of a man out for a cycle of a Sunday morning.
Pffft, easy.
