Alongside Morgan Freeman, you can pretty much do no wrong if you get David Attenborough to provide commentary of any sort; the man could read the ingredients off the back of a crisp packet and make it sound interesting.
So when the subject matter is equally as interesting as the voice itself, then you’re onto a winner, as the BBC were when they got Attenborough to voice a curling encounter between Team GB and Team USA at the Winter Olympics.
Seamlessly adopting phrases he commonly uses during his wildlife programmes and with a suitable piece of music providing the soundtrack, this is pretty much as good as it gets as far as Attenborough and the Winter Olympics is concerned.
