Derek Jeter entered the final stretch of his illustrious career by ending his 0-28 hitless streak for the Yankee’s by hitting his 1st home run of the season at Yankee Stadium against the Toronto Blue Jays.
It’s been 75 games since the adoring New York crowd last saw Jeter hit a home run in Yankee Stadium and with just 10 games to go, there’s a decent chance that it could be his final one in front of his home crowd.
