Australia and New Zealand played out an intense and nervy 12-12 draw in Sydney on Saturday in the opening round of the Rugby Championship. One of the talking points of the first half was the brutal-looking clash of heads between Wallabies scrum half Nick White and his teammate Israel Folau. In greasy conditions both were skidding along the ground to retrieve the ball and momentum caused a collision between the pair in an incident which stopped play. Both suffered no lasting injuries and continued on in the match after a thorough assessment from the medical staff on the pitch. Australia and the All Blacks do battle again next weekend in Eden Park, New Zealand in what is sure to be a cracking game.
