Video: Did anybody see Nani taking out Di Maria in a friendly last night?

Being the less loved of two children can’t be easy to deal with…

Being the less loved of two children can’t be easy to deal with…

That’s the case with Nani these days, a player who has become a little bit of a forgotten son to the Old Trafford faithful. It’s only natural considering Man United are paying him £120k a week to play for Sporting CP in Portugal.

Yet another piece of fine business intuition by the Man United chiefs, but they probably didn’t take into account what would happen if Nani came up against his direct replacement at the Red Devils.

We’re sure there was a collective intake of breath around Old Trafford last night during the clash of Portugal and Argentina when Nani caught Di Maria on the right ankle while the Argentine passed the ball away.

A collective intake of breath followed up by many shouts of “Nani you pr*ck!” It was revealed later the the Argentine required an X-ray on his foot and Louis Van Gaal will be waiting with bated breath to see if his star will be fit for Saturday’s clash with Arsenal.

Portugal went on to win the game via an injury time goal from Raphael Guerreiro.

JOE’s top tip of the day for Nani; when you’re trying to endear yourself to a club that has become indifferent to you, don’t take out their current best player. That’s just common sense…
