So this is a bit odd.
We imagine that quite a fair amount of Irish people indulged in a few drinks last night as Ireland celebrated a consecutive Six Nations title after an epic and enthralling day of rugby.
Drink was definitely required because the final stages of England v France was enough to make even a Zen monk insane.
Nerves were shot, fingernails were chewed and vocal chords were strained as Ireland reacted superbly to the marker that was laid down by Wales in Rome with their 10-40 win at Murrayfield.
It was impossible to take your eyes off the TV screen, from the first minute in Rome right up until that euphoric final whistle in Twickenham, although this Irish supporter had his eyes off the game for a few seconds here.
