Duffer, a recent addition to RTÉ's football panel, left Eamon Dunphy shocked by his knowledge of Iceland's starting-XI for tonight's last 16 game against England.
Duff went through the team one-by-one, talking about danger men, goalscoring records, which of the players are in anger management classes and even the hobbies of one of the players - speaking fluently about the side for a full-minute before letting Eamon Dunphy take over.
Dunphy, a veteran of the panel known perhaps more for controversy than analysis, paused for a moment before laughing and saying "I think the standard of the panel has gone up", causing everyone else to burst into a fit of laughter along with him.
