The FA Cup Final tickets were not picked up by E.T.
The FA had a bizarre idea when it came to holding a recent competition to win a pair of FA Cup Final tickets. They attached two tickets to a weather balloon and released it skywards on Wednesday morning.
Their Twitter account then informed their followers of the GPS co-ordinates in order to create a frenzy of excitement.

A treasure hunt then ensued and news broke that the tickets landed back on earth and were picked up by the granny of a 19-year-old Arsenal fan called George Lamb.
He went on to tell the FA’s official website, “when I woke up this morning, the idea of going to the FA Cup Final hadn’t crossed my mind. Now, thanks to my grandma finding the tickets, I’m going on the ultimate adventure to Wembley on Saturday, although I’m sure the tickets’ adventure to space is certainly a close second!”
