Probably one of the most loved footballers in the world, even the mention of Ronaldinho’s name usually brings a smile to the lips of football fans. The skills, the attitude, the smile, he’s just a proper legend and at 34, you just don’t know how much longer you will get to see him strut his stuff.
That fear, with a large side serving of love, is possibly what drove one Colombian fan to run onto the pitch mid-game to give the Brazilian a hug last night. Ronaldinho didn’t seem to mind too much, and the young fella seemed delighted, if a little dazed, after the encounter.
The match, between Ronaldinho’s Atlético Mineiro and Colombian side Sante Fe in the Copa Libertadores ended 1-1.
