For anyone who has been following the JOE-Jitsu blogs (thanks to Sean Nolan for that ace blog title), they’ll know that I’ve been filming a documentary with From Afar Productions for broadcast later in the year on Setanta Sports.
The doc is called ‘Barbaric Gentlemen’ and focuses on Irish MMA and the often-misinformed opinions that people still becoming familiar with the sport have about the fighters and indeed the fights.
I’ll also be stepping into the cage as part of the documentary in a couple of weeks.
The doc also features my coach, professional MMA fighter and owner of Primal Gym, Owen Roddy; SBG fighter and Cage Warriors Welterweight Champion, Cathal Pendred; SBG fighter (and from Safe MMA) Ash Daly; UFC Fighter Conor McGregor and SBG head coach/owner, John Kavanagh… and many more.
