Every now and then we hear a story that restores our faith in humanity…

Utah Jazz, who play in the Northwest Division of the Western Conference in the NBA, did something very special last night as they signed one of their biggest fans on a one-day contract for a special match. JP Gibson, who was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia, signed for Jazz and joined them on the court for their intrasquad scrimmage which is basically a friendly training match. The extraordinarily cute JP was passed the ball and dribbled into the lane, where one of the players, Rudy Gobert, lifted him up so he could dunk and slap hands with some players as fans roared.
