One year on from the famous jump, Red Bull have released the full video of the jump, along with lots of other interesting, and pretty scary, stuff.
Time flies while you are doing other stuff so it is already one year (and one day to be precise) since Austrian Felix Baumgartner jumped out of pod attached to a weather balloon 127,852 feet in the sky, and once he landed he took the record for the highest ever parachute jump and became a world-wide celebrity.
On the night, we had lots of camera angles on the jump but now Red Bull have finally released the full video of Felix’s helmet-cam, so we can see exactly what the daredevil saw as he plummeted to earth.
It is pretty terrifying stuff, especially when he starts to spin out of control. You also get a real impression of just how high 127,852 feet is.
This video also shows you lots of other interesting stuff like his speed, his heart rate and the G-forces he endured during the jump.
One bit of advice, if you are feeling a little hung over today, don’t watch.
