The form of Robin van Persie has been one of the many talking points around Manchester United’s season so far; the consensus view is that the Dutch striker has been in something of a funk and is possibly showing signs of age and the effects from a litany of injuries over the years.
While assessing his performance in the Manchester derby on Monday Night Football last night, Gary Neville sought to provide an alternative view and while admitting that RVP is not in top form at the moment, he suggested that some of his problems stem from the lack of quality service from his Manchester United teammates.
The evidence provided by Neville makes for interesting viewing, as does his segment on Sergio Aguero and what makes him arguably the best player in the Premier League at the moment.
