Video: Gennady Golovkin leaves opponent visibly stunned with knockdown punch

Homesport

GGG is one hell of a puncher, and he left Curtis Stevens shocked after landing a brutal blow on Saturday.

As Matthew Macklin will testify, Kazakh middleweight Gennady Golovkin is one of the biggest punchers in boxing. The WBA and IBO middleweight champions has a 28-0 record, with 25 wins coming by way of KO. Golovkin’s first fight since beating Macklin in June was on Saturday, when he took on Curtis Stevens in Madison Square Garden. It was another masterclass in power punching and Stevens eventually had enough in the eight round, handing Golovkin another TKO win. However, a blow in the second round that left Stevens in a clear state of shock was the highlight. Fair play to Stevens for recovering and facing another six rounds. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TnZlIBfSSnI
