George North raced on to this fine Leigh Halfpenny kick in the fifth minute to put Warren Gatland’s side into a commanding position.
Halfpenny has followed up with five penalties to increase the Welsh lead, with France’s points coming from the boots of Jean-Marc Doussin and Jules Plisson, as Wales went in with a 20-6 half-time lead.
There would be only one more score in the second half, but it would prove to be a crucial one as Sam Warburton went over to seal the victory by a margin of 21 points.
