Video: George North takes Israel Folau for a ride, Folau counters with an old-school DDT

In a very tight encounter between the Lions and the Wallabies in Melbourne this morning, a quite brilliant exchange of strength between George North and Israel Folau was probably the best bit of all.

Both players scored brilliant tries in the first test in Brisbane last week, but it was their strength that stood out in Melbourne earlier when they faced each other up on the wing. North showed quite amazing strength to absorb Folau’s tackle in the first place and then basically put him on his shoulder and take him for a ride. Folau then countered with a DDT Jake the Snake would have been proud of and although North looked a bit groggy for a few seconds afterwards, he was back on his feet and back in action before long. Unfortunately for North the result didn't go the Lions' way, but it's all to play for in Sydney next week.
