Earlier this morning on BT Sport's Fletch & Sav, Harry Redknapp told a hilarious story about the time he sold striker Benjani to Man City. Man City, under the leadership of Sven Goran Eriksson ("only Sven would have paid that much money for Benjani") had offered Portsmouth £9.5million for the Zimbabwean striker - whose talents were enough to elevate him to the status of cult hero at best. Benjani told his manager that he was happy to stay at Portsmouth, but 'Arry was already rubbing his hands together at the thought of all that money for a player like Benjani. So here's what Harry did:
"I had to shove Benjani out the door!"
