Eventual winner Zach Johnson obviously enjoyed taking part in the BMW Championship over the last few days but it wasn’t much of a fun experience for some of Europe’s elite golfers.
Rory McIlroy was 13 over after two rounds before a decent finish to the weekend, while after the tournament was delayed because of the weather Henrik Stenson had a bad day at the office on the final day today.
Stenson shot a two-over par 74 to slip out of contention and at one point, he took his frustration out on his driver and whacked it against the ground with such force that the head came clean off the shaft in spectacular fashion.
We’ve all been there Henrik, we’ve all been there.
