The Canadian GP ended in spectacular fashion yesterday with the battle for the podium being fought right up until the last lap.
There was one particularly big battle going on behind the race leader that included Felipe Massa, Sebastian Vettel, and Checo Perez, but unfortunately for Masa and Checo, it ended in the following crash.
Luckily for Vettel, Massa's Williams narrowly missed the German's Red Bull and Vettel was able to come third, one second behind the Mercedes of Nico Rosberg. While the crash caused quite a bit of damage to both Massa's and Checo's cars, both drivers were given the all-clear following a medical examination.
Pole position went to Red Bull's Aussie driver, Daniel Ricciardo. The win is Ricciardo's first for Red Bull and also his first since he started racing in F1 back in 2011.
