Video: Here’s the head stamp that could see Tomas O’Leary face a long ban

The former Munster man could be banned for up to nine weeks for this incident at the weekend involving James Haskell’s head.

London Irish saw off local rivals Wasps 23-20 in the Aviva Premiership at the weekend but the reason we are interested is the fact that midway through the second half, Tomas O’Leary had a rush of blood to the head and did something rather foolish.

The former Munster man used his boot in a very illegal way on Wasps’ James Haskell and he was immediately shown a red card.

Under the rules across the water, O’Leary faces anything from a two-week to nine-week ban for this, but it is expected to be at the upper end of the scale.
