Anyway, during one particular stage in this year’s Paris – Roubaix road race, a French TGV train managed to split up the main peloton.

If you look closely, you’ll see plenty of riders ignoring the railroad-crossing barriers as they attempt to keep up with the leaders of the pack.
The police eventually had to intervene and physically stop the riders from crossing as the train was only a matter of seconds from ploughing into anyone stupid enough to chance crossing.
Thankfully, no one was injured, but you have to wonder how this happened in the first place? Surely someone knew the trains would be travelling through the area?
Who knows? We’re just glad no one was hurt and that it was all caught on camera.
