Video: Hitler finds out that Cork lost the All-Ireland Final in the latest GAA Downfall parody

It’s a little bit late and it might be hard to watch for Rebel fans still sore about defeat in the All-Ireland hurling final replay, but Clare folk should get a good kick out of it.

There are so many Downfall parodies out there these days that they’ve certainly lost their novelty value at this stage, but occasionally there are some that rise above the rest and still manage to provide entertainment despite the familiar formula.

The most recent one is a little late considering that it comes over a week since Clare took Liam McCarthy back west of the Shannon after one of the most epic All-Ireland Finals of modern times but it’s still worth a watch.

As it’s made by a Clare native there are plenty of references to the celebrations in the Banner County – Queens and Abrakebabra in Ennis and a big bottle of vodka all get a mention – while a lot of the Cork Hitler’s anger seems to revolve around the failure to stop a rampant Shane O’Donnell, whose love life is also, inevitably, referenced.

Like we said, it’s a little bit late, but hardly too late for Clare fans still lapping up a sweet victory that will live in the memory for some time yet.

Hat-tip to the Banner Man for sending this one into us
