Absolute filth from the Spanish striker.
It takes a thing of real beauty to upstage the arrival of Andrea Pirlo in any match but that’s exactly what former Valencia, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid striker David Villa produced during New York City’s 5-3 win against Orlando City.
In what can only be described as an absolute bonkers game, there were seven goals in the second half as Cyle Larin’s hat-trick wasn’t enough for Sean St. Ledger’s Orlando side to come away with three points.
Speaking of the Irish defender, he was the nearest man to El Guaje as he plucked the ball out of the sky before lashing this shot past the ‘keeper.
If you’re being very critical then you might argue that the defender wasn’t touch tight but nothing should take away from that touch. It’s just sexy.
That first touch though, @Guaje7Villa 😱👌https://t.co/8S4DAJkQvZ
