Cyclist Patrick Knetemann was lucky not to have been killed by this asshat driver who fled the scene of the crime…

The following video features the moment when Patrick Knetemann, 34, was hit head-on by a VW Golf on the outskirts of London late last month. Thankfully, Knetemann wasn’t killed in the incident, but the footage is absolutely terrifying all the same.

The Golf driver can be seen indicating to the right hand side of the road, but instead of letting Knetemann pass the driver goes for it and hits the cyclist head-on.

Knetemann’s handlebar mounted ‘bullet’ camera continues to record the crash as it flies 10ft into the air and you can clearly see the windshield of the car was smashed up quite badly following the incident.

Unfortunately, that didn’t stop the driver from fleeing the scene and according to SWNS on YouTube, the car was “believed to be using false plates”.

StickyBottle.com reports that Knetemann “was left with fractures to two cervical discs in his neck and bruising to his upper body”. Police in the UK are currently looking for any information regarding the incident.
