Conor McGregor is already blazing a trail in the UFC and his walk-on entrance on Saturday night was nearly as impressive as the fight itself.
Fighting in front of a raucous Boston support, McGregor was always going to have the crowd on his side against Max Holloway, but even the commentators were taken aback by the atmosphere that was being generated by a man about to face only his second fight at this level.
McGregor walked out to Sinead O’Connor’s She Moved Through The Air before the pulses started racing to Dropkick Murphy’s I’m Shipping it Up To Boston as the cool and composed fighter made his way to the ring.

Of course not even a popped knee could prevent the Irish fighter from clocking up another big win and the future looks very bright indeed for the Dubliner, who is being widely touted as a future contender by those within The UFC.
