The reaction of Quigley’s mother is just priceless.
It’s been just over a year since Donegal boxer Jason Quigley turned pro and signed with Oscar de la Hoya’s Golden Boy Promotions.
He’s made some impact in that time and on Friday won his sixth pro fight when knocking out Joshua Snyder in 44 seconds in California to maintain an impressive 100% record.
Jason and his girlfriend April McManus decided to fly back to Donegal from LA on Sunday evening, but his mother Muriel had no idea that her son was on his way.
When he did eventually emerge, from a car boot, it’s safe to say she was nearly floored as easily as some of Jason’s opponents in the ring.
This is great…
Big surprise for my mum, sent her home a “present”.. Think she got a shock when the boot was opened for her!!! Lol
