It’s been a rough few weeks for the Irish community in the United States so it’s good to see this country’s J1 students with something to shout about.
We’re still a long way from recovering from the shock of Berkeley last month, which is why it’s so good to see Ireland’s J1 community with something to shout about after Conor McGregor’s knock-out punch against Chad Mendes.

“We wanted to show our American friends how the Irish really celebrate and they also got into the swing of it cheering for McGregor,” Peter tells us.
“We were all gutted not to be able to get to Vegas for the fight but had to celebrate in style somehow.”
