VIDEO: It’s not even 2016 and the first Irish fan song for the Euros has arrived

Conor Heneghan

There’s going to be a lot of these in the next six months.

Excitement about Ireland’s trip to the Euros next summer is likely to build gradually between now and June and that excitement leads many Irish fans to channel their musical talents into a song in support of the Boys in Green.

Some, like Joxer goes to Stuttgart and Put ‘Em Under Pressure, will be sang by Irish football fans for generations, while others will be forgotten after a brief moment or two in the sun.

The first (at least we think it’s the first) of what will no doubt be many Irish songs before we turn up in France next summer was sent into us by JOE reader John Paul Wright today, a little ditty called Dance in France, which you can download here.
