“Startling, startling, startling FA Cup scorelines…”
As if Middlesbrough beating Manchester City were not enough, Chelsea were dumped out of the FA Cup yesterday by League One side Bradford City, who came back from 2-0 down to record a 4-2 win at Stamford Bridge.
It’s been the most remarkable FA Cup Fourth Round weekend in living memory thanks to those two results and Cambridge United’s 0-0 draw with Manchester United on Friday night, and the Soccer Saturday studio went into meltdown as yesterday’s games reached a climax.
To make things even better, John Gwynne – the best commentator known to man – was on commentary duties at the Etihad Stadium.
