There’s an element of the pot calling the kettle black about Joey Barton reading mean tweets about himself.
In fairness, as many would testify through experience over the years, is there anyone that writes meaner tweets than Joey himself?
The answer to that is, of course there is, but Barton isn’t afraid to dish the dirt on others on Twitter so surely he should be able to take everything that’s coming back at him, right?
Well, yes and no. Joey, to his credit, does take some of the more clever barbs thrown at him and takes them well.
On the other hand, he’s more than willing to hit back at some of the opinions of the mean tweeters but again, mean tweets clips like this work well when the subject is willing to engage with their haters.
It’s well worth a laugh anyway and should give you a chuckle or two.
