Video: Johan Goosen gets smashed and nails ANOTHER monster drop goal for Racing Metro

He reminds us of a younger Francois Steyn…

Johan Goosen is one of the brightest prospects in world rugby and the 22-year-old proved why he is rated so highly with this huge drop goal against Clermont at the weekend.

Just a couple of weeks ago, he scored this absolute belter against Montpellier, which was given in controversial circumstances, and while his effort this weekend did not have an impact on the overall result, it was still quite a feat of skill by the South African.

Goosen also got caught out early on when he delayed on the ball slightly and allowed opposite number Camille Lopez to line him up in a cracking hit to welcome him to the Top 14.

With Jonathan Sexton on the sidelines for the next month, the pressure will be on Goosen to help his team turn around the disappointing 32-6 loss last weekend and he will be hoping for a win against Lyon on Saturday.

Goosen’s drop goal is in the video below, around ten seconds in…

Just in case you are unsure of who Francois Steyn is, meanwhile, here is a quick reminder…
