Video: Jonny Wilkinson gets rudely blanked by Billy Vunipola after the Heineken Cup Final

Toulon won the Heineken Cup for the second year in-a-row when they beat Saracens on Saturday and most of the post-match reaction was dedicated to Jonny Wilkinson, who played his final European game ever. The cameras followed Wilkinson around the Millennium Stadium as he was warmly congratulated by teammates and the opposition. There was one exception though - Billy Vunipola. Vunipola was clearly upset after the game but he shows zero class by clearly ignoring Wilkinson's attempt to shake his hand, very unsporting. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xt68cqpFnoQ I guess we have to remember that Vunipola is just 21 years old and perhaps the occasion got the better of him, but he won't be very popular after blanking everyone's favourite rugby player. Wilkinson will retire after next week's French Top 14 final against Castres, bringing an end to a 17 year career.Explore more on these topics:
