This is Pierre Jackson, and he has what is known as ‘hops’.
The new NBA season tips off in a few days and two new names to look out for are the New Orleans Pelicans and Pierre Jackson. The Pelicans is the new name for the Hornets and Jackson is a point guard they picked in the second round of the draft from Baylor.
Since being drafted, Jackson hasn’t exactly settled in at his new team, and he was shipped out to France last month, but that move seems to have gone bad too. As it stands, he may or may not be appearing in a Pelicans uniform this year, but based on this video, we think he is worth a shot.
Posted on his Instagram page, this video shows the 5’10” point guard getting way, way up in the air to dunk a ball in practice.
Seriously impressive, so much so it looks like someone photoshopped out a trampoline.
