Video: Kaka scored a beaut for AC Milan last night, and the crowd went wild

Back where he belongs, and back among the goals.

Back where he belongs, and back among the goals.

In case you had forgotten, Ricky Kaka is really good at football. The Brazilian’s four-year stint at Real Madrid was about as far from a success as you can get but now back at his spiritual home, the 31-year old seems to have found his old form too.

Last week he set up Robinho for a goal in the Champions League against Barcelona with a delightful pass and last night, he stroked home a curling gem against Lazio. It was the midfielder’s first goal since his return to Italy and he, the crowd and especially the stadium announcer, really loved the goal.

In the end, Lazio equalised and the game ended 1-1 and afterwards, Kakaa spoke about his return to form.

“I am always working hard,” Kaka said to the ANSA news agency. “I don’t know if I can go back to play at the level of eight years ago but I’m trying very hard.

“Everyone is saying I am giving a lot to Milan. I want to play in the World Cup in my country next year and this is where Milan is helping me.”

He’ll have to make the squad if he continues to play like this.
