The Rise of the Rebel Army.

The Rise of the Rebel Army.

The last five years have been nothing short of a whirlwind for Cork City fans as the club has moved passed the mistakes of Arkaga and established a sound footing, both on and off the field.

Turners Cross is one of the best places to watch a game of football because John Caulfield’s men regularly play in front of a sold-out crowd but things could have been much differently if it wasn’t for the efforts of a committed group of fans that worked tirelessly to turn the fortunes around on Leeside.

Very few League of Ireland fans will forget the scenes at Tolka Park when Cork beat Shelbourne to clinch promotion in 2011 and the club haven’t looked back since.

Tommy Dunne stabilized the team in the top-flight and John Caulfield has only added to their success, the Rebels ran Dundalk close in the title race last year and they’re back in European competition with a tricky away leg against Reykjavik to navigate.

Copa90 did a fantastic job when they were in Dalymount to watch Bohemians against Shamrock Rovers and they’re back once again. this time charting the incredible rise of Cork City.

Take a look.
