He’ll probably never take part in the real dunk contest, but based on this evidence shot in practice last week, he’d win.
The most spectacular player in the game, LeBron James can do it all. If he wants to he can beat you with three pointers, but he is also more than capable of blowing past you to slam the ball home at the rim. And when he leads a fast break, he is probably the most explosive dunker in the NBA too.
And as we head in to yet another All-Star weekend, the annual dismay over his refusal to enter the Dunk Contest gets another airing.
That feeling is tempered somewhat this year by the release of this video. Shot at a practice session in Phoenix ahead of a game against the Suns later tonight, it shows LeBron slam home three superb dunks.
We particularly like the one where he throws the ball against the wall of the gym to set it up in the same way we would throw a tennis ball around.
