It’s hard to believe that the occasion of his last ever game has finally arrived. *Sniff, sniff*

Through no fault of the man himself, Brian O’Driscoll’s farewell seems to have been going on forever at this stage, but it’s really going to hit home when he hangs up his boots after the RaboDirect Pro12 Final at the RDS tomorrow night. The great man has been the subject of plenty of fitting and deserved tributes in the last few months and ahead of his final appearance in the blue jersey he was worn with distinction for the last 15 years, Leinster paid him a lovely tribute of their own with a collection of some of his best moments for the province in what has been an outstanding career. There are all sorts of tremendous tries, sublime pieces of skill and a fine collection of haircuts in the video above and, knowing that he’ll finally be saying goodbye this weekend, it’s nearly enough to bring one to tears, of which there will be plenty in the RDS tomorrow night.
