While the attention of most Arsenal fans was on the match against Manchester United at Old Trafford, the legendary Liam Brady decided to pay a visit to the hospital where Gunners fan named Martin Toomey is staying. The incredibly talented ‘Chippy’ is still idolised by Irish and Arsenal fans – he was voted the club’s player of the year three times – and this latest act of kindness will only further endear him to Arsenal supporters.
Brady was set to take part in a Legend’s Tour of the Emirates Stadium but after hearing that Mr Toomey couldn’t attend due to illness, the St. Kevin’s Boys graduate went to the hospital to pay him a visit.
