We think it is safe to say that the little fella is back with a bang
On his first appearance since November last week, against Getafe in the Copa del Rey, Lionel Messi came off the bench to score two goals. Last night, in his first start since returning to fitness, the Argentinian repeated the dose, scoring both goals as Barcelona won the second leg of that tie against Getafe 2-0.
And just to put an exclamation point on how he means business now that he is back on the pitch, Messi conjured up a very Messi-esque goal for his second, escaping one hard tackle before gliding past the entire Getafe defence, and the keeper, to slot home a real beaut of a goal.

Of course Messi’s first great goal was also against Getafe, way back in 2007. The one last night wasn’t quite as good as the one below, but it wasn’t bad all the same.
