The effort on goal wasn’t that bad, but it caught an American steward unprepared.
The endless round of pre-season friendlies continued apace last night as Liverpool took on Olympiacos in Chicago. The game wasn’t much of a thriller, settled as it was by an early Raheem Sterling goal.
Instead the highlight was this shot on goal by Liverpool’s new Serbian winger Lazar Markovic. The former Benfica man cost £20m and Brendan Rodgers will be hoping that he gets his eye in for goal, rather than steward’s heads, by the time the actual football starts.
