The Irish spirit was no doubt dampened after yesterday’s 3-0 drubbing by the Belgians, but there has luckily been plenty to smile about since.
Not least this group of rowdy Irish fans, who got an awful lot less rowdy once they realised they were sharing a train carriage with a little baby.
Still in the singing spirit, however, the Irish fans, in their tens, serenaded French baby with lullabies – starting with the classic Twinkle Twinle Little Star before moving on to Hush Little Baby.
At one point during the video you can clearly hear somebody trying to get “Baby’s On Fire” going, but it doesn’t stick. Thank god.
